Wareham Development and Ninja Pandas have partnered together to set up a month long app camp for Emeryville students this July. A group of 16 students from the 5th to 8th grade are learning CoronaSDK to learn the basics of app development and tailor gameplay using their own stories.
The Ninja Pandas instructors are working with three teachers from Anna Yates to train not just students, but teachers in how CoronaSDK could be used in classrooms. This partnership has been designed to keep app development in the school long after this app camp ends. The students have worked hard and long and now have finally created their game. We have published the Anna Yates App Academy app for the iPad. This game has the work of all the students and teachers that created a game.
